Editing My Music Video 1

Due to the fact that am I creating a stop-motion animation music video, editing is crucial into getting it correct and providing the optical illusion of a moving image. Below is a screenshot of the editing process.

Production Schedule and Update 27/01/16

12.30pm- Begin Shoot
4.30pm End Shoot

The shoot was partially successful as I was able to do some of what I was able to achieve although some I will have to re-film.

Below is a shot taken from the shoot. This shoot involved the LEGO dancing with the TV remote. this creates the first notice of my 2/3 mark where the TV turns on and shows the LEGO movie. I chose to do this as the act of turning on the TV remote was made more interesting by the fact that there is constant dancing.

The shoot was successful and I was able to do what I wanted to do.

Below is a shot taken from the shoot. This shoot focussed on the begin of the TV remote sequence where the LEGO people turn on the TV.

The footage I received was good and I was able to do as much as I wanted to do.

Production Update

I am currently at around 2 minutes 20 seconds in production for my music video. I have noticed some issues which I may be able to current in the editing process. I have started editing and I am currently trying to work out the fluidity of the stop-motion animation along with the beat of the music.

I wasn't pleased with the footage that I took so I discarded this.

The footage that was taken was affected by bad lighting and technical issues.

The shoot was successful and I achieved what I wished to.

Below is a shot taken from the shoot. This shoot involved the TV remote entering the LEGO stage. This is first part where we see the TV remote. this makes a key narrative basis to what we see later in the music video.
